He did his Post Graduation from MP Shah Medical College, Jamnagar. He later did his MCh (Plastic Surgery) from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad.

Dr.Hemanth Kumar was a Special Trainee in the Institute for Research and Rehabilitation of Hand, Govt. Stanley Hospital, Chennai, India.

He was a Senior resident in the Dept. of Plastic, Micro and Hand Surgery, Ganga Medical Center and Hospitals, Coimbatore, India.

Dr.Hemanth Kumar was also a Aesthetic surgical fellow of Dr. Ricardo Baroudi and associates Saint Paul Hospital, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
