How to Prevent it?
- Do not use tobacco in any form and if you already doing it, Stop.
- Consume more fruit and raw vegetables. Take folate and multi-vitamins.
- Avoid alcohol
- Physical exercise to avoid excess weight gain
- Women must breast feed their children, learn how to practice self breast examination at home, should know how to maintain good personal hygiene, use condoms and avoid early & multiple pregnancies.
- At your work place, know about the hazardous materials and avoid contact with them
- Keep the environment clean and reduce atmospheric pollution.
- Avoid consanguineous marriages as it increases the incidence of cancer in the family
